About Our Company

Established in 1987, Recar and Associates has grown to become one of the leading Property Management firms in Austin. We are a full-service real estate company, offering expertise in residential property management, lease marketing and locating services.

We take an innovative, yet realistic approach to business and focus on the individual needs of our clients. The majority of our clients do not intentionally become landlords, nor are they large investors - our clients are more typically single-property owners who either relocated for work or could not afford to sell their home. Our company was built on the trust and relationships we have with these individuals and their need for a management company who would handle their homes with commitment and a sense of "ownership"...real estate with a personal touch. However, our experience also lends to effective performance needs of 'true' investors; we use solid market data as basis for our decisions instead of random guesswork in maximizing rents (in the beginning and at lease renewal) and are focused on preservation of the asset's long-term condition.
