EMERGENCY
MAINTENANCE According to your lease agreement, a maintenance emergency is defined as "those problems which materially affect the health or safety of an ordinary tenant and is not a condition that merely causes inconvenience or discomfort." Emergency calls will generally be restricted to fire and uncontrollable water flow from broken pipes, valves, etc. Although we realize that cooling or heating, or other appliance malfunctions can be uncomfortable and inconvenient, they are not considered as emergencies, and should be submitted in writing to be dispatched the next business day. If you are indeed experiencing an emergency maintenance situation, please CALL (512) 345-9886 and follow the prompts for reporting it. Please leave a detailed message with your name, phone number, property address, and information about the problem and someone will return your call shortly. You MUST leave a callback phone number! Also, please refer to the Emergency Vendor List. All routine (normal wear and tear) maintenance requests must be submitted in writing - they can be brought in, sent in, faxed to us at 512-345-2302 or emailed to us at maintenance@recar-realtors.com.
